City hall is considering a policy to use wood first in any municipal building project.
Councillor Marc Lefebvre introduced the motion expanding on the provincial Wood First Act, which is meant to “facilitate a culture of wood by requiring the use of wood as the primary building material in all new provincially funded buildings.”
