Highway maintenance to cause delays in Whiskey Creek

Alberni Highway motorists face lane closures morning of Jan. 18

Lane closures will be in effect on the Alberni Highway in Whisky Creek the morning of Thursday, Jan. 18, DriveBC announced last week.

Crews will be performing electrical maintenance along Highway 4 near the Sandhill Market at Clark Road, just east of the Whiskey Creek Co-op gas bar.

A notice posted to the DriveBC website indicated work will be performed from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 18, and warned motorists that “lane closure will be in effect.”
