JUMPING FOR A CURE: From left, Dennis Harker, May Murphy, Gord Gauvin, Jennifer Henderson and Chris Shaw were ready to take to the skies this Saturday for the Jump for the Cure fundraiser. The weekend-long event raised money for the Angels Abreast Dragon Boat Team, which Murphy and Henderson both belong to. Gauvin, owner of Skydive Vancouver Island, said about 20 people signed up for tandem jumps throughout the weekend, which helped to raise approximately $1,000 for the team.
