Liberals to hold forum in Nanaimo

Question of why more women aren't involved will be front and centre

The Nanaimo-Alberni Liberal Riding Association will be hosting A Women in Federal Politics Forum with Dr. Carolyn Bennett, the Member of Parliament for St. Paul’s, and Renée Miller, the federal Liberal candidate for Nanaimo-Alberni. 

The forum, slated for Wednesday, April 6 at the Urban Beet Cafe in Nanaimo, is open to the general public for a cost of $20. 

Dr. Carolyn Bennett is the Liberal Critic for Democratic Renewal. She served as Minister of State for Public Health under Prime Minister Paul Martin, and was Chair of the Liberal Women’s Caucus.
