Mainroad crews to install overhead sign at Memorial overpass in Qualicum Beach

Work takes place from Feb. 9 to Feb. 11, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily

The Memorial overpass in Qualicum Beach is getting a new sign.

Mainroad Mid-Island Contracting crews will perform a sign install on the overpass, which will affect traffic in both directions, near the town of Qualicum Beach where Memorial Avenue goes under Highway 19.

Crews will work from Wednesday, Feb. 9, to Friday, Feb. 11, from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily.

“Drivers are reminded to obey signs and traffic control personnel and watch for roadside workers,” read a release.

Traffic will be single-lane alternating with minor delays in both directions on Memorial Avenue.
