Oceanside RCMP are reporting an 11-year-old Qualicum Beach girl reported missing Wednesday night, June 14, has been located and is safe and sound.
Police issued a news release at 7:24 p.m. Wednesday seeking the public’s assistance in locating the youth, who was reported missing from her home earlier that afternoon.
The RCMP said it was following up on unconfirmed reports that she was at the Nanaimo BC Ferries terminal. Thursday’s news release announcing the youth has been found did not indicate where she was located.
Police thanked those who assisted with the investigation.
