Missing woman found safe and sound

Police said Angelique Larsen, who was the subject of a missing person report, has been located

A 45-year-old Lantzville woman who was reported missing March 29 has been located, according to an RCMP news released issued by Island District RCMP Cpl. Darren Lagan March 31.

Police said Angelique Larsen, who was the subject of a missing person report, has been located.

According to the release Larsen was supposed to meet a family member in the Parksville area on the evening of March 28 at 8 p.m. but she didn’t show up and was last heard from that night around 8.25 p.m. via text message.

RCMP would not say exactly where Larsen was located but did confirm they have since spoken with her and she is safe.

RCMP thank everyone who assisted in spreading details of this case.
