The Parksville Volunteer Fire Department is looking for community minded, spirited people to join the team.
Successful volunteers receive extensive training, a sense of belonging, recognition, growth and personal and skill development.
Applicants must live in the Parksville Fire Protection area, be reasonably fit, a high school graduate with a good driving record and complete a criminal record check.
The job requires a significant time commitment, responding to emergencies around the clock and attending a mandatory two hour practice every week.
They are accepting applications until March 25 for the paid-call positions.
