Three cars or more are involved in a collision on Highway 19, according to a witness who saw the crash at about 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25.
Police and paramedics responded, with the crash reducing Highway 19 southbound near the Parksville weigh scales to one slow lane as vehicles passed a damaged vehicle and emergency vehicles.
The witness, who did not wish to be named, said they saw a vehicle fail to stop in time before hitting vehicles ahead of it that were either moving slowly or stationary.
