Nanaimo RCMP searching for 29-year-old Rena Harker

Island woman missing since late September

A woman in her late 20s has gone missing.

Police are asking for the public to help them find Rena Harker, 29, who has not been seen since Sept. 29, according to a Nanaimo RCMP press release.

Harker, according to Nanaimo RCMP, has been “dealing with some personal issues” and is known to frequent Discontent City. RCMP also say they have conducted an “extensive” search in the Port Drive area as well as other locations throughout the city, but have failed to locate her.

Harker is described as a 5-foot-11 caucasian woman with long brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
