Nanaimo RCMP seek man alleged to have ripped out woman’s lip ring

Jonathan Gray is wanted, alleged to have committed assault last month

Nanaimo RCMP are seeking a man wanted for allegedly ripping out a woman’s lip ring.

According to a social media post from Nanaimo Crime Stoppers, Jonathan Benjamin Gray, 32, is wanted on a charge of assault from an April 5 incident.

“They got into a huge confrontation at one point, at which point he allegedly ripped her lip ring out,” said Const. Gary O’Brien, Nanaimo RCMP spokesman.

Gray stands 5-feet-10 and weighs 190 pounds.
