District 69 residents who have something they would like to say about Old Age Security and what might happen to it can make their feelings known in Parksville Saturday evening.
That’s when federal NDP MPs Jean Crowder (Nanaimo-Cowichan) and Randall Garrison (Esquimalt-Juan de Fuca) will be host an outreach session in Parksville as part of a broader tour that sees MPs visiting communities across the province.
The focus of their visit will be to listen to concerns about jobs as well as cuts to Old Age Security.
The event will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Community and Conference Centre at 132 E. Jensen Ave.
