No charges laid in crash at sharp bend on Errington Road

Two people were lucky to escape injury Monday after swerving to avoid a deer and hitting the ditch.

Oceanside RCMP Corporal Jesse Foreman said the incident took place in the 1600 block of Errington Road Monday morning at a 90-degree curve on the road.

“The driver said a deer ran out in front of them and they ended up in the ditch on the roof,” he said.

Neither of the occupants of the blue, Chevrolet Cavalier was injured in the crash and no charges were laid.
