Oceanside RCMP got their man.
Police report the arrest Wednesday of Hudson David Klassen, 26, who was wanted for assault with a weapon, obstruction of a police officer and break, enter and theft.
Klassen, of no fixed address, was picked up in Parksville.
After his arrest, Klassen was charged with resisting arrest, breach of recognizance and possession of break-in instruments. He appeared in provincial court in Nanaimo on Jan. 17 and has been remanded in custody until March 19.
“This is another great example of how our crime reduction unit ensures that prolific offenders in our community are held accountable for their actions,” said Sgt. Stephen Rose, Operations NCO at the Oceanside detachment.
