Opera society seeks singers/volunteers

Vancouver Island Opera company is calling for people to jump into the breach

The Vancouver Island Opera (VIO) is now inviting singers to join the chorus in the popular opera, Faust.  All categories of singers are invited to join the chorus.  No auditions or experience are necessary, only the love of singing.

Dress rehearsal for the opera is Oct. 26 and the performances will be held on Sat., Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 28  at 2:30 p.m. at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre.


Rehearsals will begin on Sat., Sept. 1  from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Oceanside Arts Council Gallery at 133 McMillan Street, Parksville. Contact Tatiana Vasilieva, Artistic Director, at 250-586-6095.
