The City of Parksville would like to hear from residents and businesses in advance of financial planning meetings this March and April.

This input will help to inform the city’s 2023-2027 financial plan, according to a news release by the city.

The annual budget is part of a five-year financial plan which sets out the services and initiatives for the next five years and how the City of Parksville will pay for them.

“The City strives to maintain quality programs and services for our residents and keep taxes affordable for businesses and homeowners,” the release read.

Council meetings to discuss the new financial plan will be held March 15 at 10 a.m., March 22 at 10 a.m., March 27 at 1 p.m. and April 12 at 6 p.m., according to the release.
