Parksville-Qualicum Elks Club members are helping SOS meet needs this winter.
Elks Club finance chair Gus Gleim, exalted ruler Gene Wakaruk and treasurer Don Walker from the Elks Chapter 589 recently dropped off a cheque for $1,000 to SOS executive director Susanna Newton. Newton said the donation will go toward the SOS Winter Emergency Fund.
