Parksville looking for off-season mobile food vendors for community park

City plans to focus on locally grown and nutritious foods

The City of Parksville plans to focus on locally grown and nutritious foods for off-season mobile vendors in the community park this fall.

Two concession pads are located on Sandcastle Drive in the Parksville Community Park at 193 Island Highway East and applicants may submit proposals for one or both pads, according to a news release by the city.

The successful contractors would operate the mobile food concessions from Oct. 1, 2022, to April 30, 2023.

Request for proposals (RFP) will be accepted until Friday, Aug. 19 at 4 p.m. They can be submitted to the city’s administration department, City of Parksville, 100 Jensen Avenue East, PO Box 1390, Parksville V9P 2H3.
