PLASTIC OCEAN: Knox United Church in Parksville was packed on Sunday (more than 300 people) for a screening of A Plastic Ocean, brought to the city by Communities to Protect Our Coast (CPOC). The event was moderated by former NEWS columnist and Salt Spring Island resident Arthur Black. A question/answer period followed the film to talk about the dangers of plastics in our waters.
