Oceanside RCMP have released a photo of the suspected robber from the July 29 bank robbery.

In a press release, Oceanside RCMP describe the male suspect was described as Caucasian, about five-foot-five inches to five-foot-seven inches tall, small build, brown hair, wearing a black hoodie, darker brown camo baseball cap, large black sunglasses, loose fitting dark blue jeans and black leather dress shoes.

“The male calmly waited while the teller gathered and handed over the money. He then inspected the money he was given before leaving the bank via the front door on foot,” said Cpl. Jesse Foreman in the release.The male was captured on nearby surveillance footage running through the parking lot of Ravensong Aquatic Centre, and is believed to be associated to a dark coloured vehicle.

On Saturday, July 29, at 2:11 p.m., a man entered the Qualicum Beach TD Canada Trust bank branch and passed a teller a note demanding money.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the above pictured individual is asked to contact the Oceanside RCMP at 250-248-6111 or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222-8477.
