A protest against a proposed cell tower in Qualicum Beach was a peaceful one.

It took place at the Qualicum Beach sign, located at Village Way and the Island Highway at noon on Saturday, Sept. 26 as part of an International Protest Against 5G.

Protesters displayed placards, posters and signs expressing their opposition to Telus plans to build a 45-metre monopole tower on a site at 845 Village Way. Several others in favour of the plan were also on hand with their own signs.
