A public parking lot along Memorial Avenue in Parksville will be closed until spring.
“The public parking lot at 146 Memorial Ave. will be closed until completion of the Memorial and Hirst Avenues upgrades project,” read a release by the City of Parksville’s engineering department.

Emergency vehicles will still have access through the work area, if needed, however, the public is advised to plan for alternative parking and to avoid the area until upgrades are complete.
