A 55-year-old male from Qualicum Beach is facing charges of growing marijuana in a garage in the 100 block of 4th Avenue, after it was raided by police Thursday.
Members of the Oceanside RCMP executed a search warrant on the building at around mid-morning and found a grow operation of around 450 plants. Police report the grow op had the potential to generate an annual income of $1 million.
One man was arrested at the scene without incident.
