RCMP choir sings carols at Parksville Qualicum Beach care homes

The RCMP choir brightened up the spirits of residents at different care homes in the Parksville Qualicum Beach area on Thursday.

Sporting their bright red serge, the choir, consisting of members from Oceanside, Sayward and Port Alberni detachments along with members of the Oceanside Community Safety and also volunteers, got residents stomping their foot to the rhythm of their music and also motivated those familiar with the traditional Christmas carols to sing along.

The group performed at six care homes — Eagle Park, Qualicum Manor, The Gardens, Cokely Manor, Arrowsmith Lodge and Standford Place.
