RCMP looking for travel trailer and suspect who stole it from Lantzville business

Theft caught on security video

Nanaimo RCMP hope the public can help identify a suspect involved in the theft of a travel trailer.

The theft happened at a Lantzville business at about 8 p.m. July 18 and was captured on security camera video.

The male suspect is seen in the video backing up a flatbed truck, hooking up the travel trailer and then leaving the scene.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 5-foot-9 with a medium build and was wearing a grey shirt, blue shorts and a red hat.

The suspect vehicle is described as white smaller truck with a flatbed.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or the location of the travel trailer is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
