RCMP on the lookout for missing 21-year-old riding horse in Errington

A 21-year-old riding horse has been reported missing from a property in Errington.

Sgt. Shane Worth reported that Oceanside RCMP received a report of a horse that went missing overnight on Feb. 15 from a property in the 1900 block of Grafton Avenue.

The horse is described as a mixed breed, lightweight, chestnut-coloured riding horse and is 15.1 hands tall. The horse is named Sumac.

Worth said police would appreciate any information about where Sumac’s whereabouts so they may continue with the investigation and determine the circumstances as to how the animal went missing.
