With the start of schools for most students delayed until Jan. 10, the Regional District of Nanaimo recreation department is offering programs to help fill the gap.

From Jan. 4 to Jan. 7, the RDN will offer full-day winter day camps at Oceanside Place Arena from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Register online at bit.ly/3zcjHuE.

The RDN will not offer the After School Escape nor the After School Gym programs at Qualicum Commons and Craig Street Commons Jan. 4-7, as recreation leaders will be facilitating the winter day camps. An email has been sent to all impacted families and a credit has been issued.
