PARKSVILLE — Local police report a Qualicum Beach woman was injured Jan. 27 when she lost control of her vehicle after hitting a patch of ice on Meadowwood Way in Parksville.
She was travelling east, towards Corcan and she hit a slippery patch that sent the vehicle into a spin, said the RCMP.
The woman — sadder but wiser — was not injured in the crash.
