The Parksville branch of Vancouver Island Insurance Centre is being torn down to make way for a new building, but the foundation may providea glimpse or treasure - related to the city's past.
A cylindrical safe with a spin dial combination was found at the site Wednesday and is in the possesion of the grandchild of the familypatriarch who owned the building and business many years ago.
