The Board of Education of School District No. 69 (Qualicum) elected a chairperson and vice-chairperson during its inaugural board meeting on Nov. 7.
Eve Flynn was re-elected as chairperson and Elaine Young was elected vice-chairperson for the 2022-23 school year, according to a news release by the school district.

Flynn, Young and Trustees Carol Kellogg, Julie Austin, Barry Kurland were elected to the board on Oct. 15.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for Nov. 22 at 6 p.m. on Zoom.
