Traffic was delayed on Monday morning after a serious motor vehicle crash near Qualicum Beach.
Sgt. Stephen Rose with the Oceanside RCMP detachment confirmed a vehicle collision on Memorial Avenue at the Inland Highway overpass occurred at 8 a.m. Monday morning. The collison involved two vehicles, and the drivers of both were transported to hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries, one by ambulance and the other by helicopter.

“The cause of the crash is under investigation. The flow of traffic was obstructed for a short period while the scene was examined by a traffic analyst,” said Rose in an email to PQB News.
