Assistant fire chief Steven Liedl, with the PFD, said the two-vehicle collision caused one to roll over onto its roof.

A man from Nanoose Bay in the vehicle that rolled over was transported by ambulance to Nanaimo Regional General Hospital for examination, while the driver of the other vehicle did not sustain any injuries.

According to Sgt. Stephen Rose with the Oceanside RMCP, the cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
