It might be a slushy one tomorrow, with rain and snow forecasted for the Parksville Qualicum Beach area.
According to Environment Canada, rain mixed with snow is predicted to start tomorrow (Jan. 8) in the early afternoon. The daytime temperate should sit at a high of 2 degrees Celsius. The forecast calls for more snow or rain overnight.
The Jan. 9 forecast also predicts rain or snow throughout the day with a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius and back to rain overnight.
The most snow on the ground the area saw between 2007 and 2017 on Jan. 7 was 13 cm in 2009.
Rain is forecasted for the rest of the week.
