CHILD HAVEN FUNDRAISER: A large crowd attended the Child Haven International Fundraiser event Friday night at the Parksville Community Centre. The event was a benefit to support children’s homes in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Tibet. People enjoyed an Indian marketplace, vegetarian dinner, silent auction and entertainment, including a traditional Thiruvathira dance performed by young dancers (above).
