Three taken to hospital after serious crash in north Nanaimo

First responders used the Jaws of Life to remove a driver from a vehicle in north Nanaimo this morning.

Firefighters, RCMP and paramedics are on scene at a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Uplands Drive and Oliver Road.

According to reports, three people were taken to hospital, including one with the use of the Jaws of Life.

The intersection is closed.
