The Town of Qualicum Beach is currently working on its five-year financial plans and is inviting the public to be involved in the process.
The town has scheduled a number of Committee of the Whole meetings on budget presentations that would allow the public to provide their input and suggestions for council to consider.
The financial plan will be available on the town’s website on March 10 at qualicumbeach.com/_finance.
The following meetings will be held in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall at 10 a.m.:
• Wednesday, March 15, Committee of the Whole meeting (budget presentations)
• Thursday, March 16, Committee of the Whole meeting (budget presentations)
• Thursday, March 23, Committee of the Whole meeting (budget presentations)
• Wednesday, March 29, Committee of the Whole & Special Council meeting (2023-2027 Financial Plan)
• Wednesday, April 19, Special Council meeting (2023-2027 Financial Plan)
• Wednesday, April 26, Special Council meeting (2023-2027 Financial Plan)
• Wednesday, May 3, Regular Council meeting (2023-2027 Financial Plan and 2024 Tax Rates Bylaw)
• Wednesday, May 10, Special Council meeting (2023-2027 Financial Plan and 2024 Tax Rates Bylaw)
