About 970 customers in Qualicum Beach were without power for several hours this morning (Dec. 20) due to a tree down across power lines.
Residents west of Virginia Road, south of Kaplar Road and north of Grafton Avenue were effected. The outage occurred at 5:57 a.m. and was restored by BC Hydro at 8:15 a.m.
