Visitor centres in Parksville Qualicum Beach get provincial funding

Destination B.C. has announced the three-year base funding model ($10,000 minimum) for the 108 community visitor centres it supports

A new, three-year funding model for community visitor services centres in Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Nanaimo will ensure more stable and predictable funding and allow for greater flexibility and innovation, according to a news release from the provincial government caucus. Destination B.C., the province's industry-led destination marketing organization, has announced the three-year base funding model ($10,000 minimum) for the 108 community visitor centres it supports following extensive consultation with the community visitor services centre network.
