UPDATE: The Nanaimo RCMP reported Tuesday morning that the 21 year old male, who was recently reported missing from Nanaimo has been located safe and sound

Nanaimo RCMP are asking for help finding a young man who was dropped off at a mall in downtown Nanaimo and hasn’t been seen since.

Police noted in a press release that they are asking for the public’s help in trying to locate 21-year-old Joshua Yost.

Yost was dropped off at London Drugs at Port Place shopping centre Oct. 30. At the time, he was wearing a long, faded purple jacket, black pants and a black ball cap.

“Yost has significant medical issues which require daily medication. As a result, his family and support network are extremely concerned for his safety and well-being,” noted the press release.
