First Reading of “Zoning and Development Amendment Bylaw, 2024, No. 2000.150”

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 467 of the Local Government Act, that the Council of the City of Parksville will, at the meeting to be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Parksville Civic and Technology Centre, 100 Jensen Avenue East, Parksville, BC, consider first reading of the following bylaw:

“ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT BYLAW, 2024, NO. 2000.150”

proposes to amend “City of Parksville Zoning and Development Bylaw, 1994, No. 2000”.

In general terms, the purpose of the proposed map and text amendment is to facilitate a subdivision into two parcels by changing the zoning from Residential RS-1 to Small Lot Residential SLR-1 on the subject property at 156 Ford Avenue and 151 Hickey Avenue [Lot 2, District Lot 14, Nanoose District, Plan 9951; PID: 005-432-375]. The subject property is shown shaded on the map below:

A copy of the proposed bylaw and documents are available for viewing from Tuesday, October 8, 2024, to and including Monday, November 4, 2024, on the City’s website using the following link:
