Pursuant to Section 464(2) and 467(2) of the Local Government Act, the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) advises that a Public Hearing is not being held for proposed “Regional District of Nanaimo Land Use and Subdivision Amendment Bylaw No. 500.437, 2022” (Bylaw 500.437). A Public Hearing is not required because an Official Community Plan applies to the area that is subject to Bylaw 500.437 and the RDN Board considers Bylaw 500.437 to be consistent with “Regional District of Nanaimo Electoral Area ‘H’ Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 1335, 2017”.
Bylaw 500.437 affects the property as shown on the map to the left. The RDN intends to consider first reading of Bylaw 500.437 at its regular Board meeting:
Time & Date: Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 1 p.m.
