NOEL,

Alan Clifford

April 30, 1955-April 26, 2003

Resident of Parksville, passed away tragically on Saturday, April 26, 2003 at the age of 47 years — getting ready for a race at

Saratoga Speedway.

Predeceased by his father Jack Noel and his uncle Jim and aunt Elsie Anderson; Alan is survived and will be dearly missed by his beloved children Emily and Ian and their mother of Port Alberni, and by his mother Mabel (Jim) Wallace of Parksville; and sisters Diane (Del) Huston of Victoria and Jeannie Noel (Nik) of San Francisco. Alan is also survived by his aunt Elizabeth Anderson (Harry) of Ladysmith and his uncle Jack Anderson (Thora) of Nanaimo and his nephew Nick and niece Katie.

It is with deep sadness the family of Alan Noel announces his unexpected death. Alan loved adventure and his life was full of excitement. He was a fisherman who loved riding motorcycles until his accident almost 17 years ago. Alan spent the last few years working on race cars with his buddies. The accident happened when he was doing what he loved — working on a race car.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Alan’s life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 795 West Island Highway, with Pastor Robert Koebernick and Earl Johnson (Shantymen) officiating.

Donations made to Hip Hip Hooray (Alan’s charity he worked diligently for), c/o Coastal Community Credit Union, Parksville and District Branch, 140 Alberni Highway, Parksville, BC V9P 1L9 would be appreciated.
