February 6, 1926 - November 9, 2009
After a long and full life, Alf is now resting and at peace. Alf was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty in 2007; his mother and father, Pearl and Lawrence and by his brother, Clair. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Cheryl (Ches), sons Bruce (Darla) and Scott; his grandchildren Andrew, Graeme and Elizabeth; as well as his sister Doreen, nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.
The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Eagle Park Health Care Facility in Qualicum Beach for their gentle and compassionate care during Alf’s stay there.

At Alf’s request there will be no service. His family suggests that, as Alf enjoyed many happy hours in his gardens, you think of him the next time you spend a quiet moment in a lovely garden.
