March 4th, 1919 - April 1st, 2012
Fred passed peacefully at Eagle Park Care facility after a short and painless illness. He will be missed by his family, friends and coastal marine community.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, daughter Marilyn McCusker (Bob), sons Don Rogers (Marilyn) and Glenn Rogers (Wendy) and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Jessie Rae and Ruby Kewley and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at First Memorial Bowen Chapel, 1720 Bowen Rd., Nanaimo on May 26th, at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Society.
