PETERSON, Alfred

Born May 17, 1923 in Danvers, Massachusetts, passed away at St. Josephs Hospital in Bellingham on March 19, 2007.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Jean. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Hanna, sister Muriel, brother John, and his wife of 33 years, Jacqueline. He is also survived by five nephews, their spouses and children in the Eastern US.

After serving overseas in WW II, he continued his studies at Renssalaer Polytechnic and graduated as an Aerospace Engineer. He continued with his education at night at Georgetown University in Washington, DC while working for the US Navy, and obtained his law degree. After 33 years with Boeing Aerospace Co. in Seattle, he retired in 1985. He enjoyed nearly 20 years of his retirement as a seasonal resident of Qualicum Beach and belonged to Eaglecrest Golf Club.

This kind, perceptive, loving gentle man will be so missed by Jean and her many sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews. A private service will be arranged.
