ALICE MARGARET COCHRANE
July 2,1923 - November 8, 2013
Margaret passed away on November 8th in the Palliative Care Unit of Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
Margaret was predeceased by her husbands Reginald Brandon and James Alton Cochrane. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Pat, Sarah and John as well as step children David, Michael and Anne.
Margaret also leaves behind her grandchildren William, Katherine, Kitty, Jesse, Emma, Keith, Aysha, Lynden, Alex and Vivien and great grandchildren Georgia and Miles; one brother John Calam.
Margaret was born in Huddersfield and came to Canada in 1940. After the war she returned to England, worked as a bacteriologist and later, a teacher of science.
Margaret was twice lucky in love, marrying first Reg, and later in Canada, Jim. She kept busy with a variety of interests and shared many good times with many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am at Knox United Church, 345 Pym Street, Parkville, BC on Saturday, November 16, 2013.
