JONES, Allan Of Parksville, BC, passed away quietly in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by his parents Kate and Arthur Jones and by his brothers Sonny and Lou. Survived by his loving wife Velda and by his children Gary (Linda) Foster, Dianne (Cliff), Boorman, Linda (Brian) Lambert, and Susan (Gordon) Yelland; grandchildren Sharon (Darren), Alan (Sarah), Kathleen, Denise (Paddy), Stephanie (Cliff), Mike (Erin), and Jenny (Will); great-grandchildcren Kyra, Brandon, Ethan, Nicholas, Delaney, Charlotte and Hudson; brothers Bud and Gary; sister (Morv (Bill), as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends. Allan was a war veteran, an avid commercial fisherman and a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him.
