Andrew will be more than missed by Jean, his loving ‘sweetheart’ for the last few years.
Memorial Service to be held at
St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Nanoose
on Saturday July 25, at 2 pm.
Gray had traveled the world as a pilot in first the RCAF and then the CAF. His involvement in NATO also led to several postings in Europe. In Canada the family had lived in Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton, Belleville, Trenton and Ottawa.
After retirement he and his wife found their own piece of heaven on Vancouver Island where he discovered the joys of the computer world and daily trips to Tim Horton’s (Rock City) and Costco to chat with the sample ladies.
Traveling was a pastime that he loved and in fact had recently returned from a cruise to Alaska with Jean.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the Nanaimo Hospice Society.
