December 17, 1935 - February 12, 2021
It is with a deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Anne on Friday February 12, 2021.
Anne was born in 1935 in the town of Leeuwarden in The Netherlands. She came to Canada with her family in 1957. Anne worked for RBC and retired in 1991.
Anne married her husband Bert in 1957 and remained married until his passing in 2010.
Anne and Bert moved to Qualicum Beach where they enjoyed retirement and made many new friends.
Anne loved to travel and spent many years sailing with Windjammer Cruises with Bert. Anne continued her love of travel and visited many countries.
She was always young at heart with a great sense of humour. As well as her love for travel, she loved to knit, read and go shopping. She was always on top of the latest tech savvy toys and shared her life with everyone through many pictures online on Facebook. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was a very proud Oma to her grandchildren Jennifer (Shaun), Christina (Neil) great grandsons Easton & Quintin, grandchildren Michael, Tayler (Brenna), Carly, Liam, Jakob, Kevin (Melissa) great grandchildren Christopher, Alexander, Penny, Ava, grandson Kyle great granddaughter Kailey, Grandchildren Crystal (Nathan), Liane (Alan).
