It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Armand. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and beloved pets, Moka and Cricket, after a long courageous battle with blood cancer and dementia.

Predeceased by his brother Rene, Armand is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Lesley, children Cindy (Randy), Deanne, Mary (Phil), Roger (Glenn), Michelle, Kerry (Steve), 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Marcel (Diane), Gerry (Jeanne), and sister Lorraine. Brother-in-law Kevin and sister-in-law Yvonne (Paul) and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Armand was born in Sudbury, Ontario, moving to B.C. with Lesley in 1971 and to Qualicum Beach in 2001, a place he loved. Armand had a long and varied career starting off in the mines in northern Ontario, to driving trucks, owning his own business and more recently working as an Overhead Crane Inspector where he travelled throughout the Province and into the States. Armand was a natural sportsman excelling at any sport he tried; hockey, baseball, skiing, sailing, curling, golf and snooker. He achieved his greatest dream in learning to fly when he moved to Qualicum.

He will be loved and forever missed leaving a deep hole in our hearts. He lived a full and wonderful life without regrets.

Special thanks to Dr. M. van der Weyde, Home care nurses and Home support staff for their wonderful care during Armand's illness.
